A group of UArizona researchers has published a new article in Eos that highlights the needs for addressing flood injustice. This article was inspired by a 2-day symposium that the author working group held in partnership with AIR and CCASS back in spring of 2023.

On Thursday, February 1, 2024, the Arizona Initiative for Resilience and International Development (AIRID) and the Center for Climate Adaptation Science and Solutions (CCASS) hosted Catalyzing Climate Action: A Discussion in the Wake of COP 28.

The Center for Climate Adaptation Science and Solutions, in collaboration with the Aspen Global Change Institute (AGCI), has just published a report titled Understanding the Effectiveness of Coastal Nature-based Solutions: Practitioner-based Learning. Nature-based Solutions are part of a suite of adaptation options that can provide interlinked benefits in hazard risk reduction, natural habitat, and social and equity needs.
