A working group meets regularly to discuss information needs of farmers and ranchers in SE Arizona, sponsored by University of Arizona Cooperative Extension, the National Weather Service, and the USDA Southwest Regional Climate Hub.  This effort provides training on weather and climate resources, with a focus on supporting agricultural and resource management decision-making. Activities include workshops on finding, using, and interpreting NOAA/NWS drought and weather monitoring and forecast products, available UA Meteorological Network and crop and irrigation management products, and other topics of interest to the group.
