The Department of Environmental Science (ENVS) and the Center for Climate Adaptation Science and Solutions (CCASS) invite all UArizona students to join a lunch with visiting speaker Daniel Cordalis. The lunch will take place on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 12 – 1:15 pm AZ in ENR2, room N604.

About Daniel: Daniel Cordalis is a member of the Navajo Nation, a natural resources and Indian law attorney, and a native of the Colorado River Basin. He is currently the Tribal Partnership Manager for the Colorado River Sustainability Campaign. Daniel has worked in private and nonprofit practice to protect Tribes’ water, natural, and cultural resources through litigation, resource negotiations, land acquisition, and tribal governance and land management initiatives. His work has focused on the Klamath River Basin and the Colorado River Basin. He recently left his position as Deputy Solicitor of Water Resources at the Department of the Interior to reengage in work on behalf of Tribal nations.
