Adapting to Climate Change

When

3 p.m., Oct. 20, 2018

A Talk by Kathy Jacobs

The last of a series of talks "Climate Change: Arizona's New Reality." Climate change is real and affecting our home. Hear how to put the brakes on climate change and learn about ways to deal with a hotter future. Meet students who are taking action and arm yourself with information.

Presented by Dr. Katharine Jacobs, faculty member at the University of Arizona in the Department of Soil, Water and Environmental Science and Director of the Center for Climate Adaptation Science and Solutions (CCASS) within the Institute of the Environment. CCASS builds and supports climate change adaptation and assessment capacity at regional, national and international scales, based on climate science and service investments within the University.

Join us early at 2:30 to mingle with interested youth groups at presentation tables.

Check out the poster and book display on the first floor of Joel Valdez Main Library.
