The National Adaptation Forum’s virtual Forum is excited to present, Tools for Adaptation Practitioners: Adaptation practitioners need help too! Three tools designed for you. During this webinar, you will get an introduction to three tools that can make your job as an adaptation practitioner (or someone who needs an adaptation practitioner) easier.
- Adaptation Help Desk – Wish you could ask an adaptation practitioner for their opinion on where to find the climate data you need, get a recommendation for a methodology, or ask any other question about adaptation? Well, now you can. The Adaptation Help Desk fields your questions and provides useful answers, then takes the next step and shares those answers through an FAQ. Ask a question today!
- Registry of Adaptation Practitioners – Want to find an adaptation practitioner or be found as an adaptation practitioner? The Registry is for you! This tool contains 133 vetted adaptation practitioners (and growing!) who have demonstrated an ability to support communities in their adaptation efforts. You’ll also learn about the new “specialists” feature for when you may need a very particular skill set.
- Climate Adaptation Knowledge Exchange – You’ve probably had a slice of CAKE already. As the largest and longest-running climate adaptation database, it may already be a tool in your toolbox. We’ll highlight new features – such as an expanded body of work on adaptation effectiveness – along with long-standing strengths, so you can get even more out of CAKE.
