Work in Bangladesh to improve climate adaptation and resiliency has been hampered by lack of centralized coordination, a dearth of climate products beyond short-term weather forecasts, short-term flood forecasting, and early-warning and storm-tracking systems, and by inadequate delivery systems. IRAP is helping build the institutional frameworks by which relevant and appropriate climate information is integrated into the decision-making process at multiple scales and for multiple stakeholders.  The project is beginning its efforts in the southwestern coastal region.
